One Punch Idle in English, a tutorial that shows where to tap and a floating battle window

The game now speaks English, the tutorial lights up exactly where to tap, and you can watch the battle in a small window while using your PC.

New

  • English version of the game, the website and the emails. On your first visit the game uses your device language; switch anytime in Settings or on the login screen.
  • Tutorial that shows where to tap: the screen dims, the right button glows with Saitama's glove pointing at it, and the step only moves on when you tap the right spot.
  • Floating battle window: on PC (Chrome and Edge), the button in the corner of the battle opens the fight in a small window that stays on top of everything.
  • Global chat in English, separate from the Portuguese chat.
  • Official Discord: button at the top of the game, on the login screen and in Settings.

Improvements

  • At the end of an Arena replay, a big CONTINUE button, and the screen returns on its own after 8 seconds.
  • New Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, now also in English.
  • Players in English see donation amounts in US dollars first.

Fixes

  • The Account and security screen showed the word "null" for players who had already confirmed their email.
  • On mobile, tapping the pending 💎 badge opened the wrong tip.

New address, new logo and a turbocharged Dojo

The game got a home of its own and a proper logo, the week now features two spotlight heroes and the Dojo stays smooth even with thousands of cards.

New

  • The game now lives at play.onepunch-idle.com. The main address, onepunch-idle.com, is now this website. Log in once more at the new address and you are set.
  • New logo: the One Punch Idle fist, in the game, on the site and in the app icon on your phone.
  • Two spotlight heroes every week in the themed Recruit banner. Tap one of their portraits to choose who your contract targets.
  • An Updates page on the site, with everything that changes in the game.

Improvements

  • Much faster Dojo with lots of cards: the screen opens instantly and scrolling stays smooth, even with thousands of cards.
  • Recycling in the Dojo in batches of up to 30 cards at a time.
  • Each hero's story now tells their class in the anime. It is flavor only: in the game, everyone has the same power.
  • Clearer donation texts: donors get Diamonds or VIP.

Balance and rules

  • To use the chat and receive invite rewards, you need to confirm your email.
  • An email that was registered but not confirmed within 7 days is freed up for someone else to use.
  • Temporary (disposable) emails are no longer accepted at sign-up.

All heroes on equal footing

The S-Class hero advantage is gone. Power now comes from rank, stars and, above all, your Team's combos.

New

  • Saitama joins PvP and hero matchmaking, like any other hero.
  • Email is now required at sign-up, so you can recover your account if you forget your password.
  • Game emails (confirmation, password recovery and notices) with a new look, themed to the game.

Balance and rules

  • All heroes start from the same stat budget. The class in the anime is just flavor; what rules are skill and faction combos.
  • Faction bonus capped at +20%, and small factions got a table of their own so they do not fall behind.
  • In PvP, Saitama's punch takes 20% of the target's HP.
  • The Abyss is about 22% easier.

Your account, safer (and Saitama runs away)

An Account screen with 2FA and session control, rewards that fly to the top of the screen and a Saitama who would rather run off than fall.

New

  • Account screen: change your password, turn on two-step verification (2FA), see where your account is signed in and end sessions on other devices.
  • Password recovery by email.
  • Rewards now fly to the counters at the top of the screen when you collect them.
  • When the fight gets tough, Saitama drops a line and runs off instead of falling. There are 50 different lines.
  • A mysterious legendary hero appeared as a silhouette in the gallery. Who could it be?
  • Recruit now has an Always skip animation option.

Improvements

  • Several new layers of protection for the account and the server.

40 heroes and a new Pass

The cast doubled: 20 new heroes, each with their own art, skills, sounds and lines. And resource packs have arrived.

New

  • 20 new heroes, with their own art, skill cards, animations and sounds.
  • Resource packs: when you run short of yen or materials, the game offers a pack to top you up. 1 per week for everyone and 5 per week for VIP.
  • Battle Pass screen redesigned, prettier and easier to read.
  • On the Heroes screen, the heroes in your Team now show separately at the top, still in rarity order.

Improvements

  • In Used cards, identical cards now appear grouped by rank, with the count (x30, for example).
  • Saitama's Serious Punch gets stronger with every mastery level.
  • Saitama also earns experience while he waits in the Reserve.

Fixes

  • Swapping your Team and going back to battle now uses the new Team right away.
